Hotel Grand Čáslav

Hotel Grand is located right in the centre of Čáslav, on the picturesque Square of Jan Žižka of Trocnov, where local markets are regularly held on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The square is lined with many local shops offering a variety of shopping opportunities. The Dusík Theatre and the Miloš Forman Cinema, which was also associated with Čáslav, are also within walking distance.

The hotel was reopened in 2017 after extensive renovations and offers guests accommodation in the centre of all the action, yet quiet, cosy, modern and clean rooms.

The hotel is sought after by both corporate clients and tourists who appreciate the picturesque nature of Čáslav, the proximity to historic Kutná Hora, and other tourist destinations. The hotel attracts both Czech clientele and a large number of foreign guests.

The hotel has a total of 14 rooms and 2 suites. Most of the rooms are accessible by elevator.

Double rooms are available in the Standard variant with a view of the courtyard and in the popular Lux variant with a view of the square. In these rooms, there is also the option to separate the beds. The Standard II and Lux in the attic double rooms are more spacious and offer the possibility of an extra bed.

The hotel also has one quadruple room and two spacious suites. The Standard Apartment for 3 to 4 people is located in the attic and provides two separate bedrooms, a living area, and a kitchenette. The Lux Family Suite offers the greatest comfort with one bedroom for 3 to 4 people, a spacious living room, kitchen with dining table, separate dressing room, and a bathroom separate from the toilet.

The hotel also offers one fully accessible room.

All rooms are non-smoking, equipped with a modern TV, safe, seating area, and plenty of storage space. They have a private bathroom with a shower and toilet, towels, hairdryer, and toiletries. Each room has built-in air conditioning with controls directly in the room (except for the Standard Suite, which has portable air conditioning). Free internet access is, of course, available throughout the building.

Breakfast is always included in the room rate and is served in the hotel restaurant on the first floor of the building. On weekdays between 7 and 10 am, and on weekends between 8 and 11 am.

The hotel restaurant is open for lunch between 10 am and 2 pm and for dinner from 5 pm Monday to Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays, the kitchen is open from 10 am to 11 pm without a break. At lunchtime, the restaurant offers ready meals on weekdays, while on weekends and evenings guests can choose from our a la carte menu.

There is also a Grand Shop on the premises where local farm produce and drinks are available for purchase.

Check-in for guests takes place in the hotel restaurant on the first floor between 2 pm and 10 pm. In case of late arrival, keys can be left in one of the hotel’s safe deposit boxes, located on the 2nd floor of the building, to the left of the entrance to the hotel area.

Guests are asked to vacate their rooms by 10 am.

Parking is available directly in front of the hotel in the public car park on the square. On weekdays between 9 am and 3 pm, parking is available for a fee. Hotel guests will receive a parking pass which entitles them to free parking for the duration of their stay.
